If you arrive at Trinity Hall anytime on a weekday, you'll
find a place buzzing with activity, with a wide diversity
of persons flowing in and out of the rooms and building. What
are all those folks doing here during the week? They
are participants, clients, students, staff and volunteers.
They include:
The Berkeley Food and
Housing Project
a Berkeley institution serving the
homeless for over 25 years. Among the Food Project's
many programs, two are housed at Trinity: the Multi-Service
Center, providing drop-in counseling and referral services,
and the Quarter Meal, serving a hot meal to anyone who
comes at 4:30 every evening. Contact them at bfhp.org.
The Dorothy Day
Breakfast Program
serves a hot breakfast to the homeless and working poor in our
community six mornings each week. |

The East Bay
Sanctuary Covenant
was formed to serve the crisis of Central American refugees and immigrants
in the 1980's. "Sanctuary" still serves the Central
American community of the East Bay, but also offers counseling
and legal referral for refugees and immigrants from all nations. Contact
them at eastbaysanctuary.org.
The Berkeley Free Clinic
is a medical and dental clinic available to all persons in the community. They
have many specialized programs for health care, including
needle exchange, care for persons with sexually transmitted
diseases, HIV/AIDS education and care, and specific health
programs for women. Contact them at berkeleyfreeclinic.org.
Maybeck High School
an independent high school in the Berkeley tradition. Contact
them at maybeckhs.org. |
